Patch Notes v0.9.13
Hey folks! Just got back from Super MAGFest 2024 a few days ago! This new build includes some nice performance optimizations, bug fixes, and general improvements from the showcase version.
You may have noticed that we're onto Version 0.9 now. The full game is on the horizon. In fact, gameplay-wise, all of story mode is playable from start to finish in the private development build. Most of the work that's left is cutscene artwork and music, as well as adding a few extras and touching up things here and there. This isn't a release date, but I'm looking to wrap up development in October. I'll be picking out a release date soon after, so look forward to that!

General
UI and Menus
-The spell cooldown bar no longer appears when the player character is dead.
-Fixed a bug where the Action Bar would not render numbers properly for certain button binds.
-When no generic "spell" bind is found, the Action Bar will display the character specific spell bind if available.
-The player character portraits on the action bar now each have a progress bar if that character's spell is on cooldown.
-The boss health bar has been brightened slightly.
-Chapters 1-4 now have artwork in the Chapter Select menu.
Gameplay
-Fixed a bug where shields would sometimes take multiple melee hits.
-The segments of serpent-type enemies no longer check for collisions with melee or penetrating projectiles.
-All generic enemies will no longer pause for a full second before charging an attack.
-Bullets are immune to bombs on the frame they spawn.
-The default number of continues has been increased to 3.
-Added 3 frames of extra crit vulnerability on enemies after the green flash goes away to prevent near misses.

CURRENT PROGRESS: Fully Playable, but could use a little extra refinement. Umbra is missing 1 boss pattern. Meta Prisma's pattern is still a work-in-progress.
-Meta Prisma now has a title card.

-Button prompts in-game do not change with control bindings. ( This will be fixed soon.)
-Overlapping textboxes during gameplay
-Bosses dont pause animations during time stop
